Since February is dental health month, we have been learning about the importance of taking care of our teeth. Here are some of the fun activities we’ve done to celebrate dental health month: 1) our dramatic play area is now a dentist office, 2) we’ve flossed away food in our teeth (string as floss, Playdough as food, and Legos as our teeth), 3) we’ve brushed “teeth” using real toothpaste and toothbrushes, and 4) we’ve had a pediatric dentist visit our AM class and a local dental hygienist visit our PM class.
