Field Trip to the Vet!

Our surprise field trip was to the Prophetstown Veterinarian Clinic! Students got to see the following: 1) where the animals get weighed, 2) the lab with computers and microscopes, 3) where surgery is performed, 4) the office, 5) the waiting room, 6) the “pet kitchen,” and, of course, 7) the animals!

AM's Special Snack

Today the AM class got to walk over to the high school for a special snack with Mrs. Quick’s cooking class! They made a caterpillar and a butterfly.  Yum! Yum!

Instead of the high school students in Mrs. Quick’s child care class walking to the Annex to see us, we made a visit to them instead where they helped the preschoolers make a special treat: a caterpillar and a butterfly! The AM class will be making the same snack on Wednesday with Mrs. Quick's cooking class.
