Halloween Fun

What a great turn out for Halloween! Thank you to all the parents and grandparents for attending the party, bringing supplies, and helping to make the preschool’s Halloween party a success! Although students were on a sugar rush from the enormous amount of food they had to eat J, I couldn’t be prouder of how well-behaved they were in both classes! What an amazing group of preschoolers I have in both my AM and PM classes!

Also, thank you for the surprise baby shower! I cannot say enough how blessed I feel to have such wonderful and supportive parents. To everyone who donated money or a present, your generosity and thoughtfulness is much appreciated! I’m one lucky teacher to not only have your child in class, but fortunate to have your support as well! J

Have a safe and fun Halloween!

Exploring Pumpkins

Today we used our senses to explore pumpkins!  We came up with adjectives to describe what a pumpkin looked and felt like on the outside. Then, we compared and contrasted the outside of a pumpkin to the inside of a pumpkin.  This involved students using a spoon, or their hands if they felt brave, to explore the contents of a pumpkin!

3rd Grade Reading Buddies

Today the PM class had their 3rd grade buddies come read one of the books they picked from the Erie Public Library.  After reading, preschoolers and their 3rd grade buddies were able to play an educational game on the iPads. Thank you to Mrs. McConnell’s class for coming and reading to our preschoolers! J

Measuring in Preschool

Today we learned the word “measure” and what it means. Then, we got to measure! The templates I used are from Mrs. Kilburn’s Kiddos website.
