Can you believe
it?! The first day of preschool is already completed! We learned about our
dramatic play area, our block area, how to get snack, what a line is, how to
sit on the rug during group time, and so much more! Have your preschooler rest
up though for another fun-filled day tomorrow! J Below are some pictures of the children playing on their
first day:

It's Almost School Time!
It’s almost that
exciting time: the start of the school year! I cannot tell you how much I am
looking forward to seeing the familiar preschool faces of students from last
year, as well become better acquainted with my new students!
I hope everyone
had a fun, eventful, and safe summer! I’m anxious for you and my students to
share summer stories with Mrs. Brooks and I during home visits! My summer has
consisted of landscaping our house, wedding planning, and my favorite: spending
time with my son (who is nine months)!
If you have not
already done so, please contact me to schedule a home visit. A home visit is essential,
because it is when we give you important preschool information, and it also
provides a chance for first year preschoolers to become acquainted with Mrs.
Brooks and myself.
Here is the
upcoming preschool schedule for the first week:
Friday, August 14:
Home visits
Monday, August 17:
Home visits
Tuesday, August
18: Open House—AM class: 9-10; PM class: 12-1
Mandatory Parent Meeting—6-7
Wednesday, August
19th—busing begins and full AM and PM classes
Thursday and
Friday—regular school days
I look forward to
a wonderful school year! J
