The students today
went fishing for ice! We discussed how people put ice on sidewalks and roads to
help the ice melt. For the experiment, we used ice cubes, water, yarn, and
salt. I showed the preschoolers how the yarn won’t stick to ice alone, but when
salt is sprinkled on the ice, the yarn sticks, because the salt melts the ice
making the yarn stick! Here are pictures of the students fishing for ice!
Enjoy! If you would like to try the experiment at home, here is the link to the

Picasso Paint Night!
Picasso Paint
Night was a hit! The preschoolers created a snowman using paint, markers, paper, and
chalk. Their pictures turned out amazing! Thank you to all the parents,
grandparents, and other adults who attended with the preschoolers
tonight. Your help is very much appreciated!
