Our firefighters
came to visit a week ago, and I’d like to encourage you to talk to your child
about a fire escape plan. This is a precautionary measure, but a good one to
have, in the unfortunate case there is a fire in your home or apartment. Talk to your child about where he/she should
go outside as a meeting place. Also, make certain to check your fire alarms and
their batteries to ensure they still work. Here are some pictures from the day
the firefighters visited:

Petting Zoo Fun!
What a wonderful
turnout we had to our petting zoo today!
The preschoolers and their families seemed to truly enjoy the
experience. Thank you to Mrs. Young for organizing the event and thank you to
all the families who came to share the experience with their preschooler. I’m such a lucky teacher to have so much
family support! Pictures of the students and the farm animals are below:

Heavy vs. Light Science Experiment!
We also
experimented with weight using a scale. Students learned and used the terms “heavier
and lighter” during the experiment. Here are some pictures of our weight investigation
and experiment:
Letter "Tt" Making!
I forgot to post
pictures from the other week when students used dot painting to create the
letter “Tt.” They then got to write the
letter “Tt” with a marker of their choice.
Here are some students’ hard work!
