For this week’s
Fine Motor Thursday, students 1) painted snowmen, 2) wrote snowman names, 3)
used their fingers in slime or Playdough (the slime did not turn out like it
did last time unfortunately), and 4) excavated
ice to save the Lego figures!

Making Slime--Ooey Gooey Fun!
Students in the PM
class volunteered to help me make slime for our Fine Motor Thursday
activity. They helped measure ingredients,
add a wide assortment of ingredients (glue all the way to buttons and glitter!),
and mix them all together!
Fishing for Ice Experiment!
I wanted to share
our “cool” science experiment from last week.
Students went fishing for ice! When salt is sprinkled over ice, it melts,
and in our experiment, the ice around the string refreezes again. This is how we are able to “hook” the ice
when fishing! Check out our pictures
below and see how many ice cubes students were able to catch! J
