This afternoon was a beautiful day to play and the PM class was loving the nice weather!

Firefighters Visit!

The firefighters visited us today! They talked to the students about what to do if they are on fire (stop, drop, and roll), and what to do if there is a fire inside their home.  Please talk to your preschooler about an escape plan from your house in case there ever was a fire. Also, here are some pictures of the afternoon class with the firefighters.  I apologize for not having any morning class pictures—we were playing on the playground and were going to walk back to the Annex for the firefighters' presentation, but they came to us at the playground instead; therefore, I didn’t have my camera. Please enjoy!

Fun Changes in Classroom

The firefighters will be visiting our classroom this Friday, so we are discussing fire safety this week.  We even set up a fire station in the dramatic play area of our classroom!  Students were pretending to be fire chiefs and In the other centers, we also got new toys that the students were very engaged with today.  Enjoy the pictures!

SEL with Mrs. Abbott

Mrs. Abbott has been visiting our classroom on Fridays in both the morning and the afternoon classes.  She has been teaching the children about different feelings they may experience.  In these pictures, students are acting out different emotions, such as happy, angry, and sleepy. Enjoy!
