Opposites Week

Last week, we learned about opposites. Through stories, acting out, modeling, and games, students learned about various types of opposites. Each student even posed to show an opposite action (i.e. hot or cold, sad or happy) for a classroom book that will be introduced this week into our classroom library. To wrap up our opposite week lessons, I introduced preschoolers to our parachute! Using the parachute, the concept of opposites was reinforced when students made the parachute go high/low, fast/slow, and up/down. Enjoy these pictures of both the AM and PM classes!
